Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Pizza is ok but I found it very odd that I couldn't get extra cheese on a slice of pizza, they claimed the cheese would not melt and the pizza would burn !!! As a New Yorker and a pizza lover I was almost insulted by that statement .

The pizza is okay but this place has no idea what customer service is! Sunday night I called and placed a order at 531 for two pizzas and was told 45 minutes and an hour later no pizza but hungry kids I called to see what was happening and was told it was leaving for delivery I live about 8 minutes away so I said okay. Then 30 minutes later still no pizza called was told it left and that's it 15 minutes later it shows up at my house. If I wanted dinner at almost 730 that would have been great. I called today to talk to a manager about the slow time and lack of communication with customers and was told yeah we were running slow. That's it!! No sorry no anything about the communication break down and amazingly slow time! I should have ordered Pizza Hut or dominos they would have at least gotten it here close to time. Avoid this place unless you can wait two hours for pizza!

This is the best pizza in the Cape. Dont believe the negative reviews they are probably from the competition. The pizza is crispy oily and delicious. As good if not better than the ones I grew up with up north. Their subs are always fresh and very generous. Highly recommed this place.

Only had pizza here so far but it is fabulous... Especially the House Special. Can't believe you can get such a large (mega size) pizza so loaded with fresh toppings this delicious without being in NY. We go out of our way to get it.

I've ordered pizza from here a few times and it's okay but nothing to write home about. Yesterday I needed pizzas for a family get together so I called to order delivery and was told they didn't start delivering for another half hour. I started to ask if I could just place my order and have it delivered after they start deliveries for the day but the person interrupted me with a "Goodbye" and hung up on me. That's okay, another pizzeria got my $100 pizza order and the pizza was better anyway. I won't be ordering from here again.

The problem is not with the quality of the food, but with the management. They do not value their customers. They treat customers with disdain and disrespect. Too bad, might have been a great asset to the community otherwise.

I would actually give this place a 5, based on the subs. The pizza, however is a bit bland. It's reasonably priced, and you do get a great value here. I simply prefer the toasted subs over their pizza. Huge subs, with great flavor. Try the steak sub!

The pizza was not bad. It seemed to be more of a New York style but not as good as what i am used to in that style. For what it was, it was good basic pizza. We tried a plain cheese, a pepperoni, and a Hawaiian with ham and pineapple. Prices seemed to be average without coupons.
